AN EXCITING PROJECT TO CELEBRATE OUR CENTENNIAL
The idea of making a museum of the company’s history arose almost 20 years ago. Immersed in one of the many renovations of the building, we decided to dismantle the old workshop to convert it into a product warehouse and it occurred to us to store some of the old machines, tools and many other things we used in the manufacture of furniture with the aim of making a museum in the future, in a part of that old workshop.
In 2016 we started the project: with great enthusiasm we were cleaning each machine, we recovered old workshop doors, dusted off rolls of thick paper discovering drawings of carved furniture and began to imagine how we wanted ‘our’ museum to be. It was an exciting journey in which memories and past experiences came to mind at every step.
In March 2019 we inaugurated it. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the company we presented the museum to all the people who at some point in their lives had passed through the company: former employees, customers, collaborators, family and friends, enjoying an evening full of anecdotes and some tears of emotion shed.
